Flowering in October, this variety produces creamy-yellow blooms delicately edged with soft pink, creating a beautifully blended two-tone effect.
With lush green evergreen foliage and a naturally compact, tidy form, George’s Delight grows to around 1.25 metres over time, making it perfect for smaller gardens or mixed rhododendron plantings.
Its parentage — (R. New Yellow 6002 × R. Crest) — gives it both colour depth and a refined shape. Like many yellow-toned rhododendrons, this variety prefers a shady, sheltered position and acidic, well-drained soil. Avoid lime to keep the leaves healthy and vibrant.
