Description
Apricot Road Rhododendron is a captivating and popular variety known for its soft pink flowers, which bloom in beautiful trusses, creating a charming display in any garden. Despite its name, this rhododendron delights with its delicate pink blooms rather than apricot hues. The flowers emerge in October, adding a splash of color to the autumn garden.
This rhododendron features an upright growth habit, reaching a height of approximately 1.2 meters after ten years. It’s a versatile plant that can be pruned to help maintain its shape and encourage denser growth, making it a wonderful addition to both small and large garden spaces.
Rhododendron Apricot Road thrives best in a shady spot, where it can enjoy protection from harsh sunlight. It appreciates well-drained, acidic soil and regular watering to keep the roots moist but not waterlogged. With parentage from Hotei and Tropicana, this rhododendron inherits robust qualities and stunning floral attributes.
Add the Rhododendron Apricot Road to your garden for a touch of elegance and charm. Its pretty pink flowers and easy-to-care-for nature make it a favourite among garden enthusiasts.

How to plant
All our rhododendrons are grown in pots, so you can plant them anytime, though autumn is ideal for encouraging strong root growth. Find the right spot based on your chosen rhodo, improve the soil generously with organic matter, gently tease out the roots, and plant shallow at or just below the original soil level. Finally, mulch well and water thoroughly to help your plant establish.
