Rhododendron ‘Golfer’ is a compact, spreading rhododendron valued for its delicate floral display and attractive foliage. In mid-spring, it produces trusses of up to 13 pale pink flowers, which gradually fade to white as the blooms mature, creating a soft, elegant effect in the garden.
This cultivar forms a low, spreading evergreen shrub, reaching approximately 0.8 metres in height at 10 years, making it ideal for rockeries, smaller borders, or low-level feature planting. The young leaves are notable for their silvery-grey felted underside, which adds texture and visual interest year-round.
‘Golfer’ grows best in free-draining, acidic soil enriched with organic matter and benefits from regular mulching. Plants are carefully packed in sturdy banana boxes, and shipping is calculated based on this packaging. To maximise value, orders of 2–4 plants (up to 4 plants per box) are usually the most economical. Orders are dispatched Monday to Wednesday to avoid weekend delays.
