✂️ Prune Your Rhododendrons This December!

Early summer in NZ is perfect for maintenance pruning — remove dead, damaged, or diseased wood, shape lightly, and encourage healthy new growth. Avoid heavy cuts on recently flowered branches to protect next season’s blooms.

✅ Cut above dormant buds
✅ Remove no more than 1/3 of the plant
✅ Use clean tools, water, and mulch
