What a wild ride the last 6 weeks have been!
We’ve just wrapped up a massive construction blitz — and the results are seriously exciting. We’ve installed 10 kilometres of slats on the roof of our brand-new lathe house (yes, we measured!), rammed in 112 posts, and clocked up some serious muscle. Let’s just say the team’s lost a bit of weight… and gained a few bulging biceps along the way!
We now have two new propagation houses, just waiting for their covers to go on before they’re fully operational. But what I’m really thrilled about is relocating the glasshouse — the floor is down, and as I write, the benches are being built for my new potting-up area. This will be the new home for all my cuttings and jiffys… and it feels like pure luxury!
This expansion is a game-changer. It means we’ll have the ability to grow a huge range of plants and keep a consistent supply going strong for years to come.
And yes — I’ve become a bit of a tradie along the way. I can cut straight, handle power tools like a pro, and let’s just say the drill’s clutch has officially earned a long holiday!
It’s been a massive effort, but I couldn’t be prouder of the progress. Watch this space — we’re just getting started!
